Eight Steps to Smashing your Stress and Mastering your Mojo

Eat Well
What we eat affects everything in our body, including our brain chemistry.
Poor eating habits can exacerbate anxiety and stress.
Eat a balanced and varied diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables and minimise processed foods.

Exercise
Physical activity is a great mood booster.
When you exercise, your body releases feel-good chemicals.
You are also releasing the tension build-up from stress and anxiety.
Try to do some sort of activity for 30 minutes a day.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness isn't just about relaxation. Its about being fully awake in our lives and present in the moment. It can help reduce stress and anxiety and give you insight and inspiration.
Try to be mindful every day.

Meditation
Meditation is about clearing your mind and escaping the demands of life. It can help you to gain a sense of purpose, whilst alleviating stress and anxiety.
Practice for 10 - 15 minutes daily using guided meditations and apps like "Calm"

Gratitude
When you regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things that you're thankful for, you will experience more positive emotions, sleep better and boost your immune system. Be grateful for 3 things every morning when you wake up.

Self Care
Self care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional and physical health. Its something that we often overlook.
Take time every day to do something that makes you happy as it will create a more positive mindset.

Sleep Well
Going to bed early is the simplest thing that you can do to promote more happiness and energy in life.
Staying up late you get more and more overwhelmed with worries and negative thoughts. Create a regular sleep routine and hit the pillow before 11pm.

Time Management
Time management is about planning your day and having the time to do everything you need without getting stressed about it. Make a plan, know your limitations and stick to it.
There is always tomorrow to get things done!
